I stopped accepting work from them a while back - it became a pattern that payment would not show up and then I would contact them asking about payment and they would feign shock and amazement, saying that my payment should have gone out on the last batch of checks. After I contacted them the check would arrive, but when this same thing happens two or three times in a row, it gets old. They still call me but I send to VM and ignore their calls. They usually would not meet my fee anyway.

I just did one for them yesterday. Their confirmation states payment is mailed out 45 days from the date closing was performed.

It never came in 45 days for me. I always had to contact them and ask where my payment was.

They do pay--just slow. You will need to remind them

& payment runs at about 60 days. It's a shame, because they're a good co. to work with otherwise.

I was short paid $50 and am still waiting to be paid

I brought this to the attention of Alex on 07/18 and reminded him again today. His response was that he had sent the check out over the weekend.

The last check received from them had a check date of 07/02, but was not mailed until 07/18 and I did not receive it until 07/21.

Their website promises payment at 30 days and I am willing to give them a week to allow for transit time through the mail, but this last payment covered assignments done 57 and 58 days before. This is not a good sign and I will be monitoring my A/R closely to see if this is their new norm or just a temporary glitch in their payment processing.

The owner is a smart woman. She knows what day it is.

I am sorry to hear that she does not pay in a timely manner.

Please everyone, put comments in SC so we can judge more accurately whether we want to accept an assignment from them or not.

I do have to say that I had one that was at 60 days & Lisa

overnighted it to me without asking. :-)
