I had a loan signing in Clay County, Fl yesterday and the borrowers were telling me that the Appraiser had to come out again, because after he was there the first time, there was a bad storm and lots of flooding. Clay County was in one of the declared disaster areas. so the Appraiser had to come back again to ascertain that their home was not involved.

I think that would have been hurricane Debbie. A lot of people have had to have their property revaluated because of this.

Believe it or not, Debby never made it to hurricane
status - she remained a tropical storm and yes, many many areas around me here are still under water....any heavy rains here are going to decimate this area
Glad to hear the latest reports took it a bit farther west - maybe we'll be okay
