I received this email from buy.com:

Your payment method was not charged and any credit card authorizations will automatically drop off in a few business days. Details of the order cancellation are provided in the order information below. If Buy.com Super Points were used to complete your order, these points will be reversed back to your shopper account within the next few business days.

We're very sorry about this cancellation. If we can help you place a new order, check stock availability from other sources, or contact the merchant on your behalf, please let us know.

They won't be shipping or billing anyone for the paper.

Yep..I got two assurance - one from Buy.com and

one from Tiger Direct - PLUS I'd used my debit card so I filed a dispute on it with my bank.

Thanks desktopfull. I just cancelled my order but haven't gotten an email confirmation yet. The status on my order still shows "Processing" so at least it hasn't shipped.

Len should at least get an honorary award, for effort. Not his fault. He even warned in the original post that it might be a mistake. Buyer beware!

I ordered two and I called this morning. Mine had already been shipped. They are reimbursing me and letting me keep to the two reams that were sent. That would have been a super deal though.

Well, having also been the proud owner of 2 cases

of this great priced paper for a short time, I can suggest that Sam's Club has 1/2 cases (5 reams) Georgia Pacific Image Plus MultiPurpose paper legal size. I bought two of those about a week ago.

My favor has always been Office Depot because they has Work Rewards with 10% back and always coupons floating around on the internet or in the mail. So most times I get is for at least 30-something to 40-something.... If not less

It was good while it lasted, wasn't it though?
