Rubber Stamps for dates and venue

Anyone using a rubber stamp for date and venue. I can't find if it's a problem in Florida. Thanks for any help you can give me.

None that I know of. I would think that your problem would be the number of stamps you may have to carry depending on how many counties you visit. I have a date stamp, but don't use except when TC requests, which has been a l-o-n-g time ago. Would take longer to get it out and inked than to just write it in.

To strictly answer your question: I don't see problem with the practice.

In my experience most tc's don't want a date stamp

used. If they haven't put in the date they want it in the borrower's handwriting.
I do have stamps for ack & jurat, and use those fairly often in GNW.

Date stamp NO, Venue stamp YES

Mine reads:

State of Florida
County of _________________

(I live in a dual-countied city)

Like Marilyn said, unless they ask for it (there are a few who will) forget the date stamp.
