They still owe me for work done in Jan and Feb - promise to mail the check - give me the check amount and check number - but.... of course, it never arrives. This has been going on for 3 weeks now.

... with these perennial offenders that I just don't want to hear any more whining about them. You've been around long enough to know how to check out the deadbeats on NotRot. You don't do that, seems to me the consequences are yours to bear, not to drizzle on everybody else's day.
