Need More Assignments
I've been doing refi & purchase loan closings off & on for a few years now. I'm trying to get more assignments, but I must be missing something because I am only getting one or two a week. I'd like to increase that to 9 or 10 if possible. Any hints would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

Look at all those companies listed in SC
Then call them one by one introducing yourself, while telling them what a wonderful service you offer.

Re: 2 words...Signing Central
Go to the top of the Notary Rotary webpage, and jsut udner where it says Notary Rotary, you will find a tab for 'Signing Central' Click on it, then select 'Signing Service Listings" Contact those companies with 3 or 4 stars to get business. They will ask you to register.

The same can be said of cable channels,
but there are new ones everyday.

not a good analogy- more channels??
More channels are paid for by some one, (advertisers) even if they are offered to you for free. The many channels available are in business to make money, not to give you something for nothing. Don't really get where you were headed with your analogy. It's like comparing apples to oranges.

While Notaries Public retire, there are new Notaries daily..
I say, do your best, build your business on best practices. Everyone will be fine.

how we all got our work.
Every one of us spent HOURS on the phone, calling companies and signing up. Personally, I spent every day, 8 hours a day, for 2 MONTHS calling signing services and registering before I got ONE job. Everybody told me "no". I didn't have the luxury of Signing Central with their stars: I just called EVERYONE. Of course, the bad guys were HAPPY to add me to their list.
