No other info at all about what type of work?

I know it says "notary" but nothing else about what it's for or how long you're needed? Or fees? Just show up?

Are you going to do this?

I think I would call Morris or Jacob on Monday and get a better description of what is involved. Sounds like auction maybe?

Just curious here because I'm clueless..

Why do they need a notary - or in this case notarIES - to get signatures for candidates? Isn't there only one document after all the signatures are obtained that require notarization? (to attest to the validity of the list of signatures?)

Like I said, curious because I'm clueless.

Re: Just curious here because I'm clueless..

I've heard about this in other areas in NY but this is the first time I hear about it in my neighborhood

I was called too, they have you go door to door to gather signatures.

Wasn't there something in the national news about this

a while back? I know I wouldn't get involved in that.
