Signing service deducting $25.00
I did a closing in May for National Loan Closings. I had done several before with no problems getting paid, other than about 45 days out. When I called to inquire about this payment, I was told that because I had not sent them an E-mail with my new address, that they are going to charge me $25.00 to re-issue, as the check was sent to an old address. I told them that I had notified them by telephone, and also my invoice had the correct address. They gave me the option of sending them a check, or they would just deduct. Last time I will work for these people.

That's crazy! I don't like the procedures of that co.
to start with, and they seem to have a motivation to increase their profits through moves like this. It's ridiculous that they're charging a "returned check fee", when that isn't what this is.
