I only see one thing in this document that I had never seen before. The authors, on page 10, clarify what they perceive to be the "tamper-evident seal". Many people might suppose that an image on the document that is often round and has the state, notary's name, commission number, etc. is the digital notary seal. But the "tamper-evident deal" this presentation is talking about is a number. For example, I created a Word document and applied a digital signature to it. I wasn't acting as a notary, but if I were, what the authors call a "tamper-evident seal" would have been:
