In Nevada, the training classes are given by the state and you have to attend in person.
The process is nothing like California...once you send in the paperwork you get your commission in about a week or two. If they do a background check, it isn't fingerprinted. They may run your name and ID through Nevada DPS or NCIC, but they might also just rely on your word that you don't have a criminal record.
