Armour Settlement Services

Any recent comments on Armour Settlement Services, Owing Mills, MD?
They state "You may not contact the borrower prior to settlement for any reason"
This makes me nervous. I always contact the borrower to verify name, address and appointment time.

I just got one and contacted the BO without realizing I wasn't suppose to. I like to verify everything, make sure about IDs and any check needed. If I see the "do not contact" I will honor it - but don't like it.

There payment record does not appear to be good. I welcome any recent comments on this and also on the fact that they do not want the borrower called.

Contact signer anyway

You will be the one stuck w/part fee or no fee if signing doesn't happen.

Re: The one I recently did came through a 4 star

signing company, not directly from Armour. Wonder what's up with that?

NVS does this also; I call the LO the day of the signing to confirm borrower has been contacted "recently" and all is still a go. Extra work but has proven helpful for me anyway. jer/oh

They still owe me for an early March signing. Run from them or run after them for your money.
