Had one person in my area do the same thing to me. Not only a lowballer but can't even think for himself to write his own resume.

some people are so bad they will even copy your name. I think you have to put something in your profile that will stand out, that way even altering it won't make sense. I would at lease send them a p/m telling them to either change it or I would disclose who it is.

Happened to me too, and I did not change my profile
I wrote to the person and told them to change theirs. My profile had been up for a couple years and was my own. So I e-mailed the person and ask them to please re-do their profile. She got her knickers in a twist but she did it. My profile stands.

I think you have no choice except to alter your profile
You do so by inserting the following paragraph:
"If you are searching for notary services in XXX area, you may have noticed that the profile of XXX XXXX is identical to mine. Please be aware that though the profiles are identical, the services we render are greatly different. If you need a notary who is ethical, who thinks for herself in addressing your problems, and who is capable of handling matters like writing an original profile, please call me. Otherwise, you might be satisfied with what XXX XXXX offers."

I added a similar statement to my profile after I discovered a local notary had copied it a couple of years ago. That notary is no longer listed here so I removed the statement.
