Internet explorer 10 question
I just got a computer with internet explorer 10. Now I am able to download the attachments in email but, not able to open or save them for printing. I tried to download earlier versions of ie but, it says that not compatible with my system. Has anyone else had that problem and did you find another solution. I am able to open in Google chrome but, I like internet explorer better.

I use Firefox and never have a problem. Only use IE on the rare occasion when absolutely forced to. Have been on Firefox for years.

Hey John, that makes two of us who will not use IE unless forced to.

I've been with Firefox for many years and same as John and Sue, only use IE when absolutely required.

Same here - love my Firefox. But, there are a couple of companies whose docs will not open in FF and must use IE. I hate it and feel so vulnerable when that is necessary.

Sometimes GMail, sometimes Thunderbird depending on size of package.

I recently upgraded my computer to Win7, IE 10, latest version of Adobe, etc. My tech guy synced it all up for me, including new drivers for my printers. I was really concerned that my Brother HL-5240 (older printer at this point) wouldn't work, but he got it all worked out. I suspect that's what you're dealing with. Go to the website for your printer & download the latest drivers, etc.

I use Chrome/Gmail, and never had an issue. IE only for emergencies

Tony has told me than some docs will not open in FF. It has been my experience as well. Not all though.
