Investment properties . . .

Sorry if this is a DUH type question - this issue has been frequent for me but have never posed the issue here on Forum:

because there is no RTC doc with an INVESTMENT RE-FI, do you as a notary cover EVERY document in the package, INCLUDING those they do not sign????

TIA.

I always go over doc in the pkg. with the borrowers, so I

don't treat an investment property any different. If they have questions they do need to call the LO & get them answered from the signing table, of course.

They sign everything in the package. There will be no RTC in there, and yes you go over everything, especially since they have no chance to change their minds afterwards.

Thank you. That has been my practice as well with investment properties. Nice to have your validation.
