No, Really! Checks are in the mail!

http://nationalmortgageprofessional.com/news36253/checks-mail-four-million-plus-borrowers-receive-servicing-settlement-payouts

If you or someone you know lost your home in foreclosure, the servicing settlement payout checks are on their way in the mail.

Hope someone benefits here!

I got my check.

Notice there's no exclamation point here. The checks were pitifully small and are not any kind of decent and fair compensation for the way Wells treated me and botched up my loan mod. I have read the stories of others who fared worse than I did and didn't get much more. I think there needs to be a congressional inquiry as to who determined the "(un)fair" values of loss how these monies were dispersed.

Re: I got my check.

I got $3,300.00 back, I do not call that pitifully small.

Good for you!

Which bank? I only got $500. I read about a marine who was on active duty when he was foreclosed on. He only got $800.

Re: Good for you!

If you go to the website on the check or post card they mailed you, has the breakdown and amounts paid and for what process they determine your amount to be. Basically how bad they dropped the ball, and how long it has been.
