No thank you!

Two offers yesterday to do signings for SoCal Signings (caller from CO), and DocPros. I simply said, "no thank you" and hung up. Offers getting lower and lower. The $200 fee they are getting from escrow is diluted to less than half. WTF. Plus you don't get paid for months down the road, and your fee will be dinged for some silly reason.

Going to the sbsaltcaves.com and unwind a bit. Lose myself in the Mediterranean salts since I don't have time to go to the Mediterranean!

No thank you is right! I have SoCal blocked on my phone.

Yesterday, DocPros offered me $25 for "only" 20 pages of docs, 2 notarizations. I told them I won't even leave my front door for less than $100.

Enjoy yourself at the salt caves!

That's not even enough for general notary work with travel to the signer - and I suppose they wanted you to print the docs X 2 as well. Ridiculous.

Yes it was DocPros. Couldn't believe my ears. Thought it was N3 on the phone!

I think they need to cut down on their overhead. Too many people at the top rungs of the ladder. Lots of staff.

Colorado number, but it was SoCal

When I told the caller there were negative comments on Notary Rotary he said, "Yes, there are. We have problems with our payment schedules." At least he didn't try to refute it...

Whew! Am I lucky! I got a call from them at 6:39pm tonight and we got cut off. (He was probably driving and went through a dead zone.) I decided to look them up and found this forum. I would have probably turned them down anyway, since I won't accept a re-fi for less than $125. I do get suspicious when I receive a call after 6:00 in the evening.
