Signed the first of what I think is the beginning of a long

line of FHA purchases (happened to be a 203K) as the market swings back to more purchases. Took 1 1/2 hours with the scared buyers wanting to read everything including the escrow instructions (finally got them to concentrate on the important stuff). In the future when I learn it is a purchase I am going to price it up to include more time and a bigger file (140 pages per set). It's worth another $25 to $35 - but I doubt I can get that much in my market. Any thoughts?

Re: FHA 203k purchases

Ask up front if it's a 203k. Should be less frequent then the 203b standard FHA. Quote your higher price, explain it's more cost in time and materials, and stick to it.

Best!
