Signing Stream

I've been working with this company for a while now... Good group of folks here. Pay on time. Answers all questions in a timely fashion. Docs are arriving well before scheduled appointment time. Very good experience with them overall.

Advertising, and a bad job of it at that.

I've reported it as advertising. maybe if enough of us do that NotRot will not only take them down, but also look into "new" accounts that pop up with these advertisements.

It's a form posting (think of a BS type of form letter) with very little changes from the others. NOT an honest post, IMO, it's advertising.

You know what this forum needs?

At the bottom of every post...when posted..., it needs to say: "Member since May 2013" <or whatever the month and year the profile was created>. The note that says "profile last updated...." is USELESS. That just means they happened to log in that day. "Member since...." identifies those who were "born" today or yesterday. Over the past few weeks, quite a few shills have promoted deadbeat companies. Quite annoying!!!

Re: Lisa, that's a GREAT idea. Someone tell Harry that!

And if it isn't possible for it to show up with every post, it would be nice to have it part of every profile. In fact, it might even be better to have it there, although I think the ideal would be both.

Another California "notary" giving rave reviews to Signing Stream. David, do yourself a favor and use the search button at the top of the forum page and look up Signing Stream and read all the comments about them.

Re: Mayo, David J., So Cal Signing Co., P.O. Box 93601, Pasadena

He is not listed here under that address - are you supposed to give your change of address to SOS in a certain number of days? Can one give a work address to SOS in CA?

Are any of OP's statements true? As in "Good group of folks here." Is SHILL a paid position?

IMO it would be better to let these posts pass, instead of

reacting to them. This happens from time to time. As many of you know, this forum is known for ss bashing. Everyone is permitted to post comments, g/b/u.

True, Marilynn, however, it is enlightening that when folks like Mayo post, everyone on this board googles him and finds out g/b/u. Good to know who our "competition" is, right?

I appreciate the input as it enables me to learn without the pain of a direct experience. Some may view the comments submitted in a negative way, but as with anything I read: Absorb it for what it offers, Weigh it against the other comments submitted, Do independent research, then Insert gut instinct. Big Smile Thanks, Cheryl!
