In most states attorney only just means they call in at the
beginning of a closing and say call me if you need me.

Exactly what they do.
GA Attorney's actually explain docs and conduct closing. One GA attorney took 2 hours and the BO was huffing & puffing afterwards about how slow this guy took. Lol!

Re: I thought WV was an attorney-only state????
WV is an attorney state which mean a mobile attorney is suppose to conduct the closing not a notary, just like GA, SC and DE all of these are attorney only states so unless you are an attorney, notaries are not suppose to do closings for WVA properties. I would be careful doing this.

Re: I thought WV was an attorney-only state????
Thanks for the tip but its pointless cuz I've done many Attorney only closings. I'm very aware of what I'm doing. The Attorney did his part and I did mine. We are all set!

Most state laws only say something like Attorney
involved. Involved has many interpretations and applications. Only one state that I know of where they need to be physically present at the closing

WV commisioner stamp, or WV commission stamp? Has it right.

Apparently, WV has both - Notary Public and Commissioner for WV.

Yes that's true. I'm a nonresident &
Do not have a business location in WV. It's similar to VA notaries at large. I'm able to notarize docs outside of WV for recording or use within WV.
