AM I REQUIRED TO KEEP A NOTARIAL LOG BOOK?
Keeping a notarial log book, or journal, is not required in Wisconsin, although you are encouraged to do so. you are handling, recording your notarial acts in a journal may prove useful later if you need to recall specifics of a particular case. If you decide to keep a notarial log book, include items such as the date and type of notarial act, names and signatures of persons involved, and numbers from identification cards and driver’s licenses presented.
