I have a pool just a little bit bigger than yours. I keep mine up in the winter and in the spring I drain it and give it a really good cleaning and start with fresh clean water. It doesn't cost that much to fill it and I hate the thought of pouring all those chemicals in the water that me and my precious grandchildren will be swimming in! The cost of those chemicals is crazy. I tried that route a couple of years ago, I think the pool place just wants to sell us chemicals. My friend has the same pool, she did the same as you, it was cloudy, spent a few hundred dollars on chemicals that the pool store suggested. Still cloudy! So today she's draining it and starting new!
