When I open my "Bear's Organic Garden & Supply" shop with live "how to" classes. It's a long-shot dream, but would love to follow my passion and retire doing that.
More and more people are ordering 'healthy meals' delivered directly to their doorsteps and paying big bucks for them. It's still not organic. If they are willing to order a 'kit' of food, next step would be to order a kit to start an organic garden with all the supplies. I'm learning the hard way and would love to make this simpler. Something others here might want to try. Plus, you'll eat healthier and live longer. Does wonders for stress too.
Our next University of CA extension program for Master Gardner's class starts January. I'll be there. It's put on by the local Dept of Ag. Organic suppliers take you more seriously if you're a certified Master Gardner. There are some items they won't supply to big box stores without a certified person on hand, which is usually never.
I have contact with some local organic suppliers too. They are out there but sometimes hard to find. A central supply shop would help people out.
There are many people online to learn from and are willing to help out. I try to take the best from them. Eating healthy, tasty and diversified foods should never be restricted, nor the know-how to do it yourself. We all need to eat.
There's tons of information I have digested that could be made easier so yes, maybe a book.
