Important Notice Regarding our Find a Notary Service

The notaries public in this nationwide notary directory have listed themselves for the purpose of providing professional notary services. They are considered mobile notaries and are able to travel to your home or office to notarize your document(s) for a fee, which may include a travel charge. Most of the mobile notaries in our database are loan signing agents. Signing agents specialize in loan signings and generally contract with signing services, title companies, lenders and brokers.

Here is just a handful of the types of forms/notarial acts notaries on this site may be able to notarize:
  • Deed of Trust or Mortgage
  • Grant, Quitclaim and Warranty Deeds
  • Occupancy Affidavit
  • Compliance Agreement
  • Correction Agreement
  • Owner's Affidavit
  • Power of Attorney - Limited or Durable
  • Proof of Identification Affidavit
  • Reverse Mortgage
  • Signature or Name Affidavit
  • Survey Affidavit
  • Advanced Healthcare Directive
  • Irrevocable Trust or Living Trust
  • Last Will & Testament or Living Will
  • Safety Deposit Box Verification
  • Vehicle VIN Verification and Transfer of Title
  • Child Custody Agreements and Adoption Papers
  • Loan Modification
If you would like to have a document notarized, you should: a) Use this page to find a local notary public or signing agent in the area where you need them, b) Call the notary to confirm that they are able to perform your notarization and to agree on a fee, and c) Schedule the signing with them. Note that in certain states, notaries may need to have additional qualifications to handle your notarial needs. In Maryland, for example, in order to perform a loan closing, your notary public must also be a licensed title insurance producer.
