Have you all forgot what being "nice" is all about? Or are you all so slow that all your time is spent on here being nasty to people. Someone asks a question and you jump down the throat of the poster. I had someone PM me when I first started on here about 3-4 weeks ago telling me to "listen to the veterans on here that they know a lot"... Ummm NO. To me they no nothing. People come here to get help. Whether its about hard copies or where do I put my stamp. Who cares what the question is? Its important to the asker. This is why I never post anymore and don't want to. That and the fact there are too many whiners on here about slow down. Make your own business happen. Instead of sitting around waiting for your phone to ring or sitting your butts on here criticizing others, go out and make business happen. Not even sure why I joined this site. Some mean old people on here. We are all notaries public. Work together. This post is JMO Well I'm off to make some money since I have business to take care of. Jeeesh. You all are welcome to tear me down now.

Why on earth do these title companies even do business with these fly by night signing service places??? They can get it done a hell of a lot cheaper by paying us a standard 150.00 and higher is further. I don't get it.
Maybe I will put that in my new marketing letter. Saving money talks.

Hearing everyone talk about how slow it has been and lots of free time it made me want to comment on a few things. I am sure you guys all know all of this so if I am posting info you already know feel free to bypass me. LOL.

Its been slow yes..FOR LOANS ONLY... at least for me. I have been pretty busy with notarizing trusts, POA's at nursing homes, hospitals is a big one, school trainings, Jails, travel overseas and all kinds of docs. I average about 3 appointments each day on a 5 day work week. I work on weekends of course. Notary fee is $10.00 for each signature and travel is $30-40.00. Each appointment I do is average $40.00... You do 3 a day that's 120 bucks. It may not sound like a lot to some of you but it is to me.

Notarizing trust docs is great. I go to a few attorneys here in San Diego. Here in California trusts are a big deal and there is around 6-8 signatures (with QCD) so when I go to their office its a hundred dollar day. And that's only ONE appointment. I do around 10 trusts a month.. Sometimes more sometimes less. Average.These attorneys are out there for sure... And they need you.Get them to call you!
I have google adwords which is HUGE for me for getting my calls. I pay about 30.00 average a week on clicks but the calls outweigh that payment.
I guess I just want to give you what I'm doing to make up some of the lost money. Its very lucrative. I am sure you all know this but I really want us all to succeed. I love doing this. I love meeting new people everyday. AND lots of Repeat customers. I have sent marketing letters every 2 months to keep my name on their mind. I have had calls from those letters and 2 of the escrow companies are using me exclusively. But it being slow I am thankful for the general stuff I am doing.

I don't know what the pricing is like in other states but it adds up fast here as Im sure other ones on here in California know. There are tons of opportunities out there. I'm all over the place, let me tell ya. I get a hold of anyone and everyone.
My google adwords really is a big deal. We will all get so busy we won't be able to sit for 5 minutes.

I was looking something up and found this.. Cut and paste the link. I had asked about notarizing on reservations.. This is for California and sales tax exempt etc... but look at the acknowledgement.. it says "California Notary Public OR authorized Tribal Representative" This is exactly what I would be doing too... it was a purchase.

Indian Reservation notarizations

Received a call earlier today from a car dealer who sold a car "to an Indian dude" (I kid you not that is what he said) and it needed to go to another city but paperwork needed notarized first. I would meet him on the reservation. I honestly did not know if we could do that or not. I looked up some info but got mixed answers. He called back and said he didn't need it done anyway which I was glad. I was going to charge 75.00 since the travel was about 30 minutes away.
Does anyone know info on this? I read if you meet him off of the reso it would be ok. I don't know. Maybe I should know this.

Sorry if this has been talked about before. Since I am just a "couple week old" newbie on here I haven't read threads a lot.
