A copy of docs is provided for the client and the originals returned, prepaid by title company, through UPS/Fedx. Copy of driver's license is routinely collected. Same day return for docs signed before 3:00 PM eastern time and next day for docs signed 3:00 PM or later.
Basic notorization of documents is limited to availability between the hours of 10:00a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Fees include $50 for travel plus $5.00 per seal. Notary services are free to people restricted to nursing/ assisted living/retirement homes in Waynewood-Mt Vernon-Ft. Belvoir area or elderly relying on public transportation. All people needing their signature notarized must have a valid government issued photo identification i.e. valid driver's license or non driver's license with photo, or unexpired passport/military ID. Social security and medicare type cards are not acceptable ID.
I am a full-time residential real estate consultant with Exit Professional Real Estate in Fredericksburg, VA. In addition to representing buyers, sellers and investors where I live, Alexandria/Fairfax County, I consult with clients in parts of Prince William closest to I95, Stafford, Spotsylvania, Fredericksburg, and limited coverage in Orange, Louisa, and Caroline counties.
