Premier Lender Services

Has anyone done signings with them? How are they to work with? Do they pay as promised? I just received my paperwork today to sign up with them and would like any feedback before I do.

Thanks!

Hi, sorry about the "no-reply" we had received your paperworks but it has been very slow lately. We are doing the recruiting now to expand our database and also, at the same time, we are contacting various Lending Companies for more business. We want to be ready when we do get busier. Thank you for your response. Hopefully we'll have the chance to contact you soon!

I'll sign up, too. But I won't hold my breath. Happy Holidays.

With all due respect to you Tina, it seems that you have many issues with many people. I have been a notary for four years, and I have seen the best and the worse this industry has to offer.

You may feel that you are doing a service to all of the notaries out there by posting every thought that comes to you. Please exercise a little constraint. You are making all of us notaries look irrational and reactive. Learn the nuances of the business before writing about every challenge you perceive.

Respectfully,

Kay Little

Re: Tina Marie Grimes

Hi Tina,

When do you have time to do signings, when all you do is spend your time complaining on the boards? Please do not think that you represent all of us notaries. You do not.

Sincerely,

Kay Little

Kay:
I'm sorry but I'm a little bit confused. I do not spend my time complaining on the boards and I don't believe that I indicated at all that I represent all of us notaries. I think you might want to read my post from yesterday again. I was only expressing my frustration and anger at the lack of support that we notaries, as a community, do not receive. And if you read a lot of the posts out there, I am not the only one. Are you going to ask all of them when they have time to do signings if they're so busy complaining? Oh! and thanks for reminding me how petty people can be.

Sincerely,

Tina Marie Grimes

Re: Tina Marie Grimes

Ms. Grimes

There are many organizations that support the notary community.
I find the National Notary Association to be very helpful. I have attended many annual conferences - networking at these conferences is a great way to meet notaries who are willing to help with difficult situations...the workshops are very informative with question & answer sessions available.

It may take a little work on your part in finding out about these organizations.

Under the NNA is the NSA which focuses on Signing Agents. A membership provides you with a phone number (hot line) - this could be a very big help for you.

I met several notaries at conferences and talk to them on the phone or email regularly.
You won't feel so all alone if you seek out these organizations.

**Please don't be frustrated and angry because there are resources to help the notary community.
In taking the coursework to become certified, I was given a 329 page book which covers every aspect of being a Signing Agent.
This course was through the NNA in Chatsworth, CA.

Re: Tina Marie Grimes

Thanks for clarifying your position. I wasn't being petty...I just saw so many negative posts from you, and it affected me.

On some level, I agree with a lot of what you have been saying. It is apparent that you are frustrated with many things within the industry - namely things that affect us notaries.

Have you had many positive experiences as a notary? I've seen both sides, but still enjoy being a notary.

Sincerely,

Kay Little

Re: Tina Marie Grimes

Kay: Are you sure you have the right Tina? There's another Tina that posts here. I've only complained about Victory Notary, who owed me quite a bit of money, for which I was paid by First American (which I posted a thank you to them). I have been a Notary for almost 20 years and I have had a lot of great experiences, and have met some really great people as a Signing Agent. I have a network of Notaries here in my area that keep in touch. I think what did it for me is reading all the posts about how Notaries are treated. We are held accountable for our actions, we are sworn to uphold laws, we (in Calif) have to be bonded and, some agencies require E&O insurance. We are under the Secretary of State. Who protects us? Who represents us? As a member of the NNA and the NSA, can I go to them and tell them I'm not being paid for my services? I can but will they do anything? I don't know.
I hope this clarifies my position a little bit better.

Your fellow Notary,

Tina Marie Grimes

Re: Tina Marie Grimes

It is quite possible. If that is the case, I owe you a thousand apologies. I should not have jumped all over you (or the other Tina) anyway. Best of luck with Victory.

Respectfully,

Kay

Re: Tina Marie Grimes

Apology accepted and I did receive my money, not from Victory, but from First American. Have a great Holiday!
