They take a long time to pay and god forbid if you do not send them the tracking number by 9:00am the next day (even if you do a late closing for them and have other appointments in the morning) they will take $10 off of their alreadf over the top fee of $50.00!!! What is pissing me off about some of these signing agencies is that they act as if you are supposed to be available to them on minute's notice, drop everything you are doing to accomodate them, wait all day for edocs and then be gracious and accomodating when the borrowers want to read every line on the docs and then refuse to sign. These SA's act as if we are only working for them exclusively and god forbid we take appointments from another SA and are not available when we have been waiting all day for some edocs on an appointment that eventually cancels out b/c the docs are never received. Lastly - the young girl in the office (Rebecca) is very rude and needs soem definite training in customer service along with the owner Frank Amiri. Sharon (the accountant) was very helpful in tracking down my payment but it still takes a long time for them to get it out.

When I take e-mail assignments, I don't wait for them anymore. I tell the company, if I don't get them by a certain time I can't do it. Most companies wait until the last minute to get you the documents. I have decided that if they can't get them to me before I have to leave on other closings I tell them it will just have to get rescheduled. They understand that we work for other companies (at least the companies I deal with). As a matter of fact, I am "waiting" for docs as we speak. I have to leave my house tomorrow by 9:30am. I am going to call them at 8:00 am and if they can't get them to be by 8:30, oh well. I can't wait around for them all day. (That signing is at 11:00) You get very fustrated when you have to do a closing and you don't have any documents and you have to wait around all day. I say NO MORE! These companies just have to learn.
As far as getting them the tracking number by 9 am the next day, if that is their policy you just have to look at your paperwork when you get home to see who needs to be phoned (leave a message), updating websites or faxed followup information. Although you are doing late closings, taking an extra 15-30 minutes to get whatever needs to get done before you file your invoices/confirmations away just gets it off your desk and out of the way. That's just my observations. If I don't get it done right way, I forget and it doesn't get done. This way it's done and out of my mind.... until pay time. Good luck.

After my post of 12/29, I received a phone call from Sharon at Speedy Closing who was a bit "perturbed" that I would report them as a non-paying company since she had told me that the check "would be in the mail the following day". I told her that I did that because, in fact, I hadn't been paid YET....if and when I got the check I would report that also. That was last year.....this is 1/2/2004 and I'm still waiting for that check that was "in the mail".

Re: Speedy Closing/ALLIED/Door to Door
Just to set the record straight, I finally DID GET PAID by Speedy Closing in January for work done in October. Maybe they will see this message and stop calling me about "retracting" the non-payment complaint....and hopefully will remove me from their database!

Re: Speedy Closing/ALLIED/Door to Door
I completed a signing for door to door back on October 7, 2003 and I have not been paid either. I called back at the end of November and I was told the check would be mailed the first week of December, we are now in the 2nd week of January and still no payment. I have heard numerous complaints about this company on other sites as well.

Re: Door to Door changed name to Allied National (no pmt)
I'm in the same boat that some of you guys are in. I completed a signing in good faith on October 9, 2003 and have called 3 or 4 times. Each time I get the same story.. checks are going to be sent out of NJ office. The company changed their name to Allied National but I don't imagine their pay history has gotten any better.

Re: Door to Door changed name to Allied National (no pmt)
might as well just give it up on Door to Door - they owe me for 4 signings, from back in October. Allied gave me Door to Door's president's name and cell phone, several messages left, never called back. I would be very leary of closing for Allied National as well, because so many times companies aren't actually taken over, just their names change with the same people working for them.

Re: Door to Door changed name to Allied National (no pmt)
I've been fighting with Allied for 5 closing I've done since October. Finally, got paid for the one in October. I was told 2 of the check would go out the end of December, still do not have them. Called this morning said 2 checks would be cut this week. Other 2 end of January. (I pray) Also in case you did not know this when Door to Door first called they told me they were changing their name to UNited National closing, when the order came it was Allied, shame on me! This should have been enough of a red flag to say ..no more!

Re: Speedy Closing/ALLIED/Door to Door
I have a signing scheduled for them on Monday. When Allied called me they told me the confirmation would actually come from their sister company Speedy Closing in NJ. I told her on no wait a minute I am having a problem with them. I then looked at my paperwork and saw that it was for a closing I had done in mid-December that was a piggy back loan they had not informed me of. Once I amde an issue of additional payment with them Sharon called me back once she researched it and told me they would pay me an additional $25.00 for that on top of the fee we had already agreed on. Needless to say I accepted the new assignment. The owner of Speedy Closing called me back almost 10-15 mins later to make sure that all of the issues with my last payment had been worked out and that there were no problems. I told him yes because I was expecting to receive payment. I am now feeling really uncomfrotable about the possibiltiy of not getting paid for the last one and now this one coming up on Monday. Should I call and cancel?? I got the docs. today UPS. Please advise?
