I just became a notary. I am not sure what I should set as my standard. The only experienceI have with notaries and cost is what I was charged for a notary to come out to my house for docs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Start off by reading posts 33325, 44234, 44429 & 44653. Only you can determine what you need to charge to make a profit. That means nothing less than $50. Good Luck!

If you accept $50 for any signings, I hope it is next door and at a time that is at YOUR convenience. You might be the reason so many people are griping about the $50 SSs.
