Ohio Notary Work???

I live in Ohio and I am desperately seeking more closing work/notary work. Can anybody offer suggestions, contact information, ideas, etc.?

Thank you all for your helpful posts!

Sincerely,
Amy

Sign up with as many companies as you can. There are some good lists out there. Network with other notaries in your state. Remember, you are the competition so your help is likely to come from notaries that are not in your immediate vacinity.

Do a google search for things like "notaries needed" or "signing agencies".

Check out signingagency.com to see which companies are doing business in your state.

Participate in contact info swaps.

Try Insured Closings in Ohio.

Have you signed on with companies that can list your name, like 123Notary, Signing Registry, NNA, and also I found a new one thru Google- called Notary Locator. If you sign up thru them, tell them I referred you. My referral number 952. They give small referral bonuses (supposedly). I also did the free ad thru Notary Rotary, and already got my first call. I have myself listed with about 30 signing companies I think, so if I don't get any business, it won't be from not trying.
