Has anyone done business with this firm?
I was scheduled for a signing 9 am on Wed. Was minimum 45 minute drive one-way, stayed in touch with borrower and finally agreed to cance lsince there were still no docs at 9. Appt was rescheduled for 1 pm Fri. New Docs were supposed to be at my house before 10:30 am. At 2pm there are still no docs, borrower doesn't have them, and SOX says that they are trying to track them, but I won't be paid because I've not physically gone to appt. I've given up another signing opportunity because I had committed to them.

I have done a few for them. I never had any of the problems you mentioned. The problems I found were frequent phone calls, many of the documents were required to be faxed back, and fees that were paid 75 days after the signing. I guess we each have to decide if it is worth the hassle.

SOX has a long reputation of VERY slow pay (my last one with them took 5 months). There are a lot of much more dependable companies out there, stay away from this one unless you like working for next to nothing.
