NEW TO THIS NOTARY FIELD...

I'm new to the Notary Field. After reading some of these messages. I'm just kind of curious. What is the one about "STAY AWAY FROM THESE BUSINESSES" all about? I realize it's warrning you of these listed businesses. However what I dont understand, is how they got your contact information if you don't work for them? Are you advertising in a local paper or something for these types of places to be able to contact you for your services...?? Just curious. I'm wanting to make the most out of my Notary too, therefore, I'm willing to do what it takes to get my "foot in the door" so to speak...

In most cases it takes a Signing Agent having worked with a certain company to have feedback on them...becoming aware of their pay schedule (for some companies their pay schedule may be paid in a timely manner - while for others it may take a very long time...in some cases they never pay), their professionalism, among other important issues which can make a very good working relationship or worse - a very bad one.

A Signing Agent often passes this information on to us to give us a"heads up" to certain companies. I greatly appreciate their input.
