Sorry.
Went to a signing last night that was luckily right around the corner from me. Person who was listed as borrower on documents was not there, and never intended to be there. Her ex-husband who still co-owns the house with her had to initial and have notarized a few of the documents. He had no idea I was going to be there either. After about 6 calls to signing company, they said to go ahead and have him do what he needed to do, just make sure her name was crossed off everything that I had to notarize. Ended up being there for 3 hours, because he didn't really know what was going on and called the loan company to doublecheck (I couldn't say I blamed him). Signing company told me to bring everything back wioth me including borrowers copies, and they would let me know where to send docs. Rally messed up deal. Still waiting to hear from people that I e-mailed this morning, or tried to call several times last night.

Did you call the client before you went there? For your troubles, I would still invoice them .

I tried, but the number they gave me was a disconnected number. They said to go anyway. Update, the closing company did call me las night to fed ex the docs to the original borrower to a totally different address. They have assured me that I will get paid for the doc signing I did with the x husband.

When ever I try calling and the number is disconnect I check the loan application in the documents, sometimes they typed in the wrong number or there is ussually a work number too.

didn't have documents. They were sent directly to the lender. It was kind of messed up right from the beginning, but I think(i hope) eanyway, everything ended up working out okay. Thanks for the feed back

Something else, if it ever comes out like that again, I have had to use the internet phone book in the past too. Sometimes the phone number has changed and the docs don't reflect that.

Just a thought, glad it looks like it turned out ok.
