Don't want to give SS# on line

I want to register on Notarypro.com as a Signing Agent, but I don't see where the registration is a secure page. Should they be asking me for that anyway? What do you do?

Call them with it, explain you don't want to give it out online - or fax them a W9 form.

Yes, they can ask you for your SS# - actually I would get an EIN# from the IRS website and use that for the signing companies.

Call and get a tax ID. It is very easy. Go to the IRS website and download an application the form is called SS-4.
