Is $150 too much?

I just sent my application to a title company and quoted my set fee as $150 plus borrower copies and fax backs, if necessary, with a mileage range of 30 miles because they wanted a fixed fee for the counties or zip codes you work within. Do you think that is too much? Do you think they'll even call me for work?

Linda, depends on how many NSAs are in your area and how experienced you are. I think it might be perceived as a bit high if you don't know the company; I'd start smaller and work up after I've shown them my quality. Faxbacks go with the territory in most cases.

Borrowers copies are always included in the price (I am assuming you are referring to edocs), and fax backs are one of the costs of doing business. Title companies do not usually require many fax backs. You probably won't get many calls from that company unless you are in a remote area with few SA's
