Need quick loan signing advice

Hi, as of tomorrow morning, I will be legal to notarize. I have been in the commercial real estate business for several years and I am familiar with terms, documents, etc. My boss, knowing that I will be legal as of tomorrow morning, asked if I would do a loan signing tomorrow afternoon.

Are there any quick tips that I should know before I go in? I know the basics, checking ID, signing exactly as their name is printed, etc., but which documents do I actually need to notarize? Any help or advice is welcome. PLEASE!

I am in the Sacramento area if anyone is willing to volunteer their time for a quick lesson as well. Drinks/coffee/dinner on me!

You need to notarize the Borrowers Afidavit and the acknowledgement

The documents requiring notarization should have notary certificates on themSmiley
We don't decide what needs notarizing, we can only notarize the ones with the certificates on them.

Just make sure the certificates conform to your state laws - and the venue is correct.

Study and know your state's notary regulations COLD. You must be able to adjust the notarial wording so they conform to your state's regulations. Most of the docs I receive are from out of state, so I make changes frequently.

Do not underestimate knowing your notary laws.
