No invoicing necessary
I am newer and, I have completed signings for companies that say that, the confirmation is my invoicing. It doesn't make sense because after the signing I still have to send something right? I fax back to tell them I have completed the assignment and my bill is? Do you send them your own invoice?

It varies by company - some may have you fax back a copy of the confirmation where you sign off on completion and provide a tracking number. Others may have you go to their website and enter the tracking number, and still others may have you call in. While many companies do request a specific invoice, many do not. Some have their own invoices that you send in at the end of a given month.

A lot of companies do not require an invoice. However whether they require one or not, I generate one in Quickbooks. I don't send them the invoice if they haven't requested one, but I have one for my records.
You don't always have to send anything after the invoice. Some companies will have you go to a website and confirm the closings. All depends on the company.

I send out my own invoice for every signing with a net 30 days. I've been getting check within 2 weeks with a copy of my invoice attached.

Quicken Home and Business is less expensive than Quickbooks and it has a mileage tracker and Invoice capabillity. I have both of these programs and Quickbooks is certainly a better accounting program than Quicken. Title companies are usually the people you will be sending an invoice to get paid.
