Rescheduling

First of all I would like to say this message board has been very enlighting and helpful to me, yes I am a newbie! I have only been doing this for 2 weeks now and I have a question, is it the business to have assignments reschedule? Also what is the going rate to have new docs printed since the borrower rescheduled now for 2 days in a row and ss told me new docs must be issued from title company? Hopefully, knock on wood!, closing tonight! Brenda J Khan- FL

Very typical in my area, at least for closings to be rescheduled two or three times. However I only charge per set of e-docs I am required to print. If I print the docs and they call and reschedule I charge full price for the next set they send that I have to print. If they are not willing to pay that fee they are more than welcome to send them via mail or contact another closer I might add that is hard to do in this area. Very Very Rural. I will invoice for that set of docs though. Good luck. What state are you in?

Florida. Very urban area, lots of notaries here! SS stated she would pay me for second printing. They cancelled again so third time I informed SS to not assign me this job if it should come up again. I have to cut my loses now! 2 printings, 2 trips out to house, no signing. Thank you for your reply! Brenda Khan-FL
