Sign on the X

I have had many problems with this agency as far as receiving payment. I finally received a check from them, but is no good. Can you believe that they can not make good on a $100.00 check.
Has anyone else had these type of problems with them.

This company for a long time has had one of the worst non/slow-payment reputations on the notary boards. Would strongly advise not dealing with them at all.

Did alot of work for them about 3 years ago they gave me alot of work and always paid on time. But 2 years or so they just went down hill fast. I did a little work for them and after weeks and weeks of calling I got paid. I had them take me off there notary list.

Belinda-Chicago,

The check probably bounced because they finally paid me a month ago for a lone one I did for them last October.

You've been a member of this forum since at least January of this year. During that time, Sign on the X has been singled out over and over and over again as one of the worst non-paying companies. There have been several threads that had their name in the title, pretty hard to miss.

If you've seen ANY of these threads and still did work for them, you have nobody to blame but yourself. If you've missed them, you might want to check in with this group a little more frequently because as you can see, there is a lot of valuable information that we share that helps each other out and we can all learn from each other.

Either way, I wouldn't be spending the money for this signing just yet. Consider it a Christmas club, and if you're really really lucky, they just MIGHT send you a check to use it by Christmas.

My other suggestion would be to give it 30 days, then start calling them once or twice a day, every day, and hope they get sick enough of you that they'll send you the check just to shut you up. Then, most importantly, never accept work from them again, and make sure you tell them exactly why if they do offer it to you.
