Della, Is the SS aware that this is your first signing? What type is it -- refi, HELOC ... ?

More importantly, does the signing service know that you don't even know how to notarize a document?
I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you don't even know the most basic notary tasks, you have NO BUSINESS going out and doing signings.

Della, you didn't even recognize that the acknowledgement wording was not proper for Calfornia. I'm not sure what part of your question you posted "incorrectly" but that you copied the acknowledgement wording verbatim and asked what went in the blanks tells me that no, you do not (or did not at the time of the posting) know how to notarize a document.
I would suggest that you work on strengthening your notary knowledge before you accept any more signings. Remember, you're a notary FIRST and a signing agent a distant second.

In CA, that is not compliant with notary law. You should attach a Ca All Purpose Ack.

Just make sure you have their phone number as well as the loan/title company for any questions/problems that come up during the signing. Good luck.
