LOST SEAL (STAMP)

I have not lost my stamper, but what would one do if it did happen? MN state law tells what to do with the stamper upon my death, but nothing regarding loss of stamper.
Is it wise to have an extra one on hand?

Only if you never admit to it . . .please don't tell me if you do because then you'd have to kill me.

The same as with a lost or stolen jounal, you need to report your lost seal the Minnesota Secrtary of State.

It is wise to have an extra stamp; however, you should contact the office issuing your commission for the proper procedure of what to do.

I have an extra stamp, one for each car, just in case. It's been 8 years and, knock on wood, I haven't lost mine yet.

Thanks for all the input. My local mentor also said he has extra stamps (home, car and briefcase). When lost, he suggested to notify the Dept. of Commerce Licensing Division for directions. That dept. issues the commissions. Also, notify my county court house office where I had register ( and pay $100 to do so). And finally I do not plan on the stamp getting lost. Have a Merry Christmas.
