On the brighter side...

Yesterday, I lamented to a friend that I have had eight signings cancel this month.

All that postive garbage I feed others came back to haunt me.

He said:

"Look at it this way...I remember when you did not have eight calls in a month, much less eight assignments to cancel and still have work. "

Checkmate.

But look at all the Good Things you've accomplished--- Think of it as SEED Sown... It'll come back multiplied many times over... Eight is a lot-- what percentage is it overall for the month?

I had one cancel- completed three--one for tomorrow still on--Guess thats a 20% Cancel Rate..

And 10 days to go in December---Have you ever had any Christmas Eve or Day Signings? What about New Years Eve or Day? Would a Agent be due a higher fee for emergency Holiday Signings? Just curious..

How many Agents would consider going out on those days--IF "a big IF" a Lender did call..?

What I would base it on would be how good of a month I'm having. If it's terrible, I would sacrifice alot more than if I had a terrific month. (A large amount of money tends to help also) Smiley

have been having a great month-don't think there's enough money to spend it away from my family and grandson

With you all the way, Mike. My stepdaughter told me today I could keep my grandsons overnight Thursday for the first time since my Beautiful & Talented Wife and I separated. I've been kissing the ceiling all day. Haven't had so much fun wrapping presents -- books, puzzles, flashcards, etc. -- since...well, since never. They do love their Popugh. And their Popugh really misses the large blocks of time he once was able to spend with them.

The 3-year-old has a major league arm. Throws better than the 5-year-old. I also saw him make six hoops in a row once.

I've always admired women, but I've never envied them until my youngest grandson came along. We had them almost every weekend. It was my job to give him his 2 a.m. feeding. Those are some of the fondest moments of my entire life, with the house still and holding Colin. I can understand why women would want to breastfeed. I refused to let him give up the bottle until he was 2 years old. Just didn't want to give up those magic moments.

Anyway, it's shaping up to be a merry, merry Christmas.
