charging gas mileage

When I do work for title, mortgage, or escrow companies, I charge them $125 for signings and $25 for edocs. Should I also charge for gas mileage? And if yes after how many miles?

Lisa,

This doesn't respond to your question, but I think $25 for edocs is a little light, particularly given the nature of the companies you are dealing with. I would charge say $35. I say this given all the potential headaches that can occur with edocs (like last minute arrivals, the necessary phone calls or emails, disruptions to your schedule, etc.)

Lisa I agree with Ted's statement about increasing your E-doc fee to $35. I charge $35 from SS or anyone for E-docs!

I charge $125 for title/escrow companies and an additional $35 for E-docs. My base price includes travel fee up to 20 miles one way, anything beyond that is additional.

You are your own boss you are free to make your own prices, if they accept your fees then great if not renegotiate. BK-FL
