What is the info on this company? Are they worth paying $$$ to get your name on their list?

Sometimes u have to put a little out to get a lot back. I got a signing not long after I signed up. And thanks BrendaTx for that tip about the link thing. I also was wondering how that worked.

Next thing you know, we'll all have little boxes next to our name.

I can't respond to your gomobilenotary.com question but I can tell you my premier membership at Notary Rotary has paid for itself a hundred times over.

Nice picture, Tom. I love clicking on profiles here and feeling like I fit right in with my peers on this board. It makes me feel like a youngster involved with kids my own age.

Brenda, Thanks for the nice comments, although I do believe that you may have to wait a few years (quite a few actually) before you reach my age. I agree it is fun to check out everyone's profile--I just want to make sure that I maintain my status as the most bald notary in Iowa and I am not sure, but I may be in contention for this prestigious titile for the entire United States

Tom,
In case you have not realized it, bald is in--some guys are shaving their heads just to get the "look."
According to George (on Seinfeld re-runs), people of baldness will be the most loved when the spacepeople get here. Thus, bald men will be the first ones invited in to look around inside at the space vehicles.

Re: Brenda, are you hitting on Tom?
Nope. All the men on this forum are too nice to do that to.
If I were "involved," I'd have to give up my selfish ways, my forum fun, start grocery shopping, do a good bit more of house cleaning, and do something besides exactly what I want to do....I am pretty set in my ways.
My late husband had a busy professional life which I supported him in; and, he put up with me and my love for dogs, my problems with stockpiling yarn, hoarding fabric, whimsical sewing frenzies, messy soapmaking, working online and writing emails until all hours of the night. He used to laugh and tell my sons that if the world was coming to an end and there was a shortage of yarn and soap, we'd all be in good shape for years to come. Not many men would think it was quite so "cute."
That's not something I'd perpetrate upon another poor unsuspecting man. I might be able to hide it long enough to pull it off, but the truth would eventually come out.

Feel free, Brenda, feel free. I'm not nice. I am deliciously naughty. I am shockingly depraved. I am inexcusably immoral. I am indescribably indecorous, iniquitous to the core, scandalous, imperfect, a flawed vessel, a shameless sinner. And I'll be all that just for you if you'd like to trying hitting on me.

Re: Brenda, are you hitting on Tom?
What a tempting invitation for me to issue a "hit" ...but, there's a little problem of our widely divided religous beliefs, Hugh.
You are an agnostic and I consider myself a Modified Evangelical...totally believe every word of the Holy Bible and read it daily. Don't do much Bible thumping, but choose instead to do a little Bible marching (i.e, walk the walk, not just talk the talk). Tolerance is a word that annoys me...Understanding, empathy, and full acceptance of people as to who they are, are words I like a lot better. Thus what I believes "modifies" the way I consider myself as "modified" in the current interpretation of the "Evangelical" word.
As a practical matter, we are both the type to like being right...I suspect both of us would lose our core values which would are against murder, and quite likely kill one another in debate 1, 2 or 3 of such a relationship.
Besides that Hugh, if I were to decide to "hit" on you...there'd be no "try" to it.

Ron,
I know (from reading prior posts) that there are people who have signed up with gomobilenotary mainly as an effort to support their notary discussion board. The base price really isn't that expensive (I believe it is $19 bucks). (By the way, I have not signed up yet, but I do plan to, mostly for that reason). And then I suppose they feel heh if any business comes from it, well that is gravy.
