researching this site
ok, is it me or is there a better way not to lose your place when searching keywords like taxes, etc.? I can pull up a list and everytime I go into a topic and hit return, I'm thrown into the present! argh...is there an easier way than backing up thru 8+ posts in every topic everytime? tia I'm trying to discern all the conflicting info I'm reading on what you claim, what you don't...I think I got it, but it seems like it takes forever to manuever around in the archives.

When you bring up your search results, Charm, try right clicking on the link you want to read and choose OPEN IN NEW WINDOW.
If you have enough RAM, you can open up several windows at a time.
OR
When you bring up your search results, do a CTRL-N and you will have a new window with the same identical info as the old one...the old one remains and is out of the line of fire. New window is the same, so carry on ! Click and read the thread, you are through with that thread, close it, do another ctrl N on the original search window and keep moving.
Hope this makes sense!

You are welcome...
However, KM's idea may be a much easier one.
I always like the CTRL-N way so that I always have my "back up."
If there is a harder way, that's the one I am using!

Yes, instead of using the return, use the back button on the browsers menu bar (think these are the terms ) It will back you up through each post of the one you read, then get you back to the next subject, and not return you to this area. Hope this helps.
