America West

Has anyone had trouble getting America West to pay. I did a signing last October and have asked 3x to be paid. Any feedback will be helpful

Anon,

You have to be careful. There are two America West's.

One is America West SIGNING..which has been panned on other notary b oards. I have no experience with them.

The other is America West TITLE out of Wheat Ridge, Colorado. I have done plenty for them and they have always paid me promptly.

Thanks for the clarification. The one I am having trouble with is America West Signing in Arvada, CO. They owe me $150.00 .....ouch. I tried calling today, but, got no answer. I already have a demand payment letter ready to send. Based on your input I'll plan on seeking payment in a more aggressive manner.

I have been in contact with a notary who took them to collection & the collection agency said it was uncollectable. They do not answer their phone, but their fax does receive faxes. But, all the information I have says they are out of business. They were into me for $170 for July & August. Told me in September they would cut the check that day......famous last words.
