HP 1300
Does anyone have experience with this model? The specs say it prints up to 20 ppm. In actual time, how long does it take you to print an average size loan package? How important is having a second tray?

The HP 1300 is a great little printer! I can print my docs in less the 3 minutes. Last night I printed 2 sets of an 80 page packet and I was finished in 5-6 minutes. The second tray is a big help but not necessay.

Using one tray, do you print all loan docs on legal size paper? I ask due to the fact that certain docs are letter size while others are legal size.
Thank you.

Stephanie, The docs I get are in two files- one for legal and one for letter. Haven't had a problem but I can see that two trays would be optimal if the docs were all in one file.

Thank you - I was considering a 1300 or a 2300L With the 2300L there is one tray (250 sheet); however, the tray that is for envelopes & misc sizes of paper holds up to 100 sheets - so I thought I'd use the 250-page tray for letter size, and the additional tray legal paper.
The information you've provided is quite helpful.
Again, thank you.

I love my HP 1300!!! I do have a HP jet printer (21ppm) if I have to print 2 docs at once. Obviously the jet printer is good but I can go through a cartridge quick. Buying the 1300 was the best business move I have made. Now if I could just remember to say no to the companies on the bad list.........I might actually be in the positive! Live and learn.
