Loan Originating a Natural Career Progression for SA's

My Client is a Small Regional Bank in Central Coast of CA with a Community Bank feel, providing customer service over transactional business. Description of Position:
Originates permanent conventional and new construction mortgage loans and participates in related business development activities. Solicits residential first mortgages through contact with realtors, builders, developers and housing organizations; encouraging and servicing refinance referrals from retail branch staff. Keeps informed of trends and developments in the local real estate market. Calling on potential or existing clients to develop new business or retain existing business, both in person and over the telephone. Representing the bank in various civic community functions to further enhance its/your image and develop or promote additional business relationships. Compensation is reflective to loan volume, and offers a very lucrative pay out.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business is preferred. Excellent communication skills required. High work volume in fast paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Thorough understanding of company goals and objectives in regard to client satisfaction. Experience handling multiple projects within required time constraints. Strong sales referral aptitude with previous mortgage lending experience. Excellent research and problem solving ability. One year + of previous mortgage loan origination experience. One year in current position.
