Nationwide Document Services
Anyone have a problem getting paid for services from Nationwide Doc Services? I did a closing in April and still havent seen a check. I have emailed them several times, and all I get in response is "the checks in the mail."

Just did one about two weeks ago...so I haven't seen the results yet. Keep me posted, though, Cynthia on the status of yours and I'll let you know if I see my payment.

I've done several signings for them and had no problems getting paid, usually in about 4-5 weeks.
Try calling them instead of emailing them. Find out exactly when they mailed the check and if it's been an unreasonably long time, ask them to stop payment on it and issue another one. It is possible that they did mail it and it got lost or misdelivered, those things do happen occasionally.

As an attorney who concentrates in the area of debt collections. I suggest you take legal action quickly. Our firm concentrates on assisting small business owners like you. You work to hard to earn your fees not to get paid. Our legal fees are based on a contingency fee basis, we only get paid if we collect for you.

Well I got my check finally today 07/26/04 But guess what they had to deduct $15.50. Heres the rap, The closing was initially scheduled for 04/23/04 but we had a winter storm. Which the borrowers lived in the mts on a rempote country road "they informed me they where snowed in" I was not going to travel 75+ miles to get stuck. So I contacted Nationwide and the Title Company to extend the signing for 1-2 days. Faxed all the info, emailed resposes etc. Got the loan to close the next day, but guess they still had to stiff me. Well you win some/lose some... Cynthia
