POA Signing~~HELP~~URGENT QUESTION

I haven't done a POA. Could someone tell me how the person is supposed to sign the documents?

i.e. Melissa Dickson for John Doe, attorney in fact

Is this correct? I need an answer really bad.

I'm not in MS, so I don't know. But the answer to this question is in my state's notary regulations. You might try there.

Melissa Dickson as attorney in fact for John Doe

or

John Doe by Melissa Dickson, atrorney in fact

The first is generally the preferred method.

I would contact the signing service or title co. that you are working with. They will tell you how they want it signed.

Title company or lender. I never call the sigining company, half the time they don't know anyway - or they have to call the lender/title company and then call you back, in the meantime you have the answer a lot quicker by going direct.
