Toner Kits
Just a reminder.
www.tonerkits.com has great prices on refill kits for your laser printer.
I paid $6.99 for the refill for my HP Laser 1300 and $7.99 for the refill for my HP2100 - plus shipping I also bought a case of refills (10 refills) for the HP 2100 for $84 - including shipping:)
Harry - maybe you can put links to these sites that save us money on the home page? So when the info scrolls off we can link from the home page???

For the HP 3015, I placed an order this morning which was The hole maker $9.99 10 case refill $74.99.
I cannot believe the price - This kind of savings makes it worth it to do one's own refills.
Tonerkits.com needs to send Sylvia a commission check!
Thanks, Sylvia.

Hmm a commission check - I like that idea! I wonder how many have found tonerkits.com through me <g>
When I see something worth while recommending I do so:)
I always recommend the Notary Rotary journal and Toner Kits, and I love Joan Bergstrom's/Cheryl Elliot's book (How To Be A Wildly Successful Signing Agent" )
I gain nothing from those recommendations, so can freely recommend them.

I've bought toner refills from tonerkits.com via ebay. Definitely a great deal compared to buying a new cartridge each time.
Before I bought my first refills I emailed him to ask how many times a cartridge can be refilled. I was told twice. Have you found this to be true? I've replaced my printer since then, so I never got a chance to try refilling more than twice.

You should be able to get at least 4 refills from one cartridge. I've been able to get up to 7 on some. It really depends on a lot of things, including how much "waste" there is and if the matte gets damaged. As a safeguard, always keep a fresh, clean, NEW cartridge handy. You never know when the toner gremlins will attack.

Hi PAW NS -
Is there a specific thing to look for when the cartridge has had its last charge? Or is this something refillers figure out fairly easily once they get into the actual situation?
Regards, Brenda

Unfortunately, I don't think so. At least, I have found no indicators to check before it goes bad. But, you will certainly notice it when you print something. It will streak, be "dirty", the printer may squeal, etc. At that point, change the cartridge, put the one you took out in the trash. Don't forget to empty the toner hopper (it's messy), and save it for another cartridge.

Ahh! That explains why my printer has been "squealing" lately!

Never mind - it was late at night. I will make sure the toner hopper gets emptied.
